LIAM IN KOZIAR'S CHRISTMAS VILLAGE

November 13, 2010. Our plan was to have dinner at 5 PM in the general area of Koziar's.  The first and closest eating establishment that popped up on the internet was the Heidelberg Family Restaurant in Robesonia, PA.  The food and service was good and the prices were very reasonable..

As we approached Bernville, the long string of cars in the pitch black country side reminded us of the movie "Field of Dreams".  The 2010 prices were $8 general admission, $7 seniors, $6 juniors and children under 5 went free.  They had a line for credit card purchasers and another line for cash.  The cash line naturally went a little faster.

Care Bear, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman greeted the kids upon arrival.  Liam carried his favorite Thomas engine throughout the whole Koziar's tour, which will prove interesting at the end of the tour.

Liam's fascination with trains led us immediately to the huge outdoor train display.

The Christmas Village was very large so they painted white arrows on the pathways to provide a guide.  The arrows worked out fine.

Every house, every vehicle, every tree was glowing with colored lights.

Along the way were holiday street signs, song lyrics, kids cartoon characters and lots of places for family photos.

We heard a bell that sounded like a steam engine bell and found it at the wishing well.  Liam rang the bell and put some money in the well to help disabled kids.

Another small display building with a train and Liam took it all in.

After stopping for hot chocolate and cookies and we proceeded down the pathway and found the toy shop.  Dad found a cool toy that looked like a Christmas tree and when you pushed the mechanism, it spun around revealing a Santa Claus.

There were several gift shops near the exit and we stopped at the last building with the trains.  Once again Liam enjoyed the displays.

Liam was celebrating his 3rd birthday and we had a Thomas engine gift for him.  We knew that if he got the gift at dinner, he would have wanted to go home immediately to try it out.  We drove north of Bernville to the Love's truck stop along Rt. 78.

The Thomas engine comes with replaceable faces for different expressions.  Liam changed one out and was very satisfied with himself.

We all had fun at Koziar's Christmas Village and Liam ended his birthday celebration with one of his favorite engines.
