From our lunch table window, and off in the distance, we saw a passenger train with a giant Bon Jovi ad painted on one of the cars.
Continuing south we stopped briefly at the Tuckerton Seaport.
Before long we found the huge electric generating windmills in Brigantine, NJ. The combined power is 7.5 million watts from wind power.
We arrived in Atlantic City and parked at Trump Plaza. As we walked from the parking lot to the casino, we looked out the window and saw the stark contrast from the well appointed casino to the blight of an abandoned part of the city.
We passed through Trump Casino and all the tables and gambling machines were busy.
We took a short walk on the Boardwalk, passed the Convention Center, the Kennedy Memorial and other casinos.
We departed the central area of Trump buildings and headed for dinner at Borgata. Wanting seafood, we stopped at the Sea Blue restaurant. Excellent food and our server Chelsea provided excellent service.
It started out as a short day trip, but we made a whole day of it.
