June 19, 2008. Upon awakening and eating breakfast, we took a taxi cab to the National Gallery, which houses an impressive collection of masterpiece paintings. Photographs were not allowed.
After leaving the Gallery we walked to Trafalgar Square, which is nearby.
We visited St Paul's Anglican Church, also known as Church of the Actors, in Covent Garden. It was built in 1631.
We continued walking to Leicester Square, a sort of place like TKTS in Times Square, New York, where we bought discount tickets to see "Wicked".
The whole day was sunny and warm, a perfect day for sightseeing and walking.
